Echoes of ecstasy reverberated throughout the M.A. Motala Islamic Centre, in Wyebank as over 200 recipients of blankets ululated, tears of joy flowing on their cheeks.

The Al-Imdaad Foundation (AIF), a Humanitarian Aid Organization based in Estcourt, Kwazulu Natal in collaboration with the M.A.Motala Islamic Centre, held a winter warmth blanket distribution at the M.A. Motala Islamic Centre in Wyebank, Durban.

The Elderly, sick, orphans, and those infected / affected with the HIV / AIDS scourge were targeted.

Operation Winter Warmth is an annual event servicing the poorest of the poor targeting the deepest of the rural areas in South Africa.

The Wyebank community was elated by this gesture and thanked the two organizations for considering the gifts to them at this particular time when the temperatures are going to below the 0 degree mark.

The Winter Warmth campaign was launched 2010 and since then, thousands of blankets have been distributed to underprivileged individuals.
